Yes! Admission, food, drinks and beer are cash only. Some artisans and vendors may accept debit or credit cards, but this is up to each individual vendor.
There are ATMs available in Shawville and Otter Lake, so we recommend coming prepared with cash for your Oktoberfest adventure.
Weekend passes are sold online by clicking the Buy Tickets button at the top of the page, and will be available online until a few days prior to the event. You may still buy your weekend pass, as well as your daily passes, at the main gate (cash only).
Yes. Admission is required for entry to the festival grounds, whether you’re coming for the food, the vendors, the music or just to have a look around.

Yes! There are activities for children on Saturday and Sunday, so bring the whole family and let the kids join in the fun.
Our Truck Pull is always a crowd favourite! However, the Truck Pull is weather dependent, and the decision to proceed is made the morning of the event by Whitewater Truck Pulling, based on conditions.
You can bring your own lawn chair to comfortably watch the pull!
We also recommend hearing protection for children, as the trucks can be loud.
Yes! Parking is free and is located across the road from the festival grounds.
Yes! Free rough camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
